2nd Joint EVI-GTI/PIWG International Gas Turbine Instrumentation Conference

PIWG and the EVI-GTI is pleased to announce the 2nd Joint EVI-GTI / PIWG International Gas Turbine Instrumentation Conference. This year’s event will be held 24 – 26 September in Seville, Spain. Please go to www.evi-gti.com for more details on registration procedures, the venue and accommodations.

EVI-GTI and PIWG are soliciting technical presentation papers from across the US and EU that relate to all facets of gas turbine sensors, instrumentation, test, and development. Sessions will focus on performance and flow path measurements, structures, rotating component testing, data transmission, and non-intrusive measurement technologies. Twenty-minute presentation timeslots are scheduled, plus 5 minutes for questions.

While a written paper is not required to present at this event, abstracts must be submitted in advance. Please send a one page abstract describing your technical topic relating to instrumentation and test to the EVI-GTI Secretary General, J.-F. Brouckaert, at conference2008@evi-gti.com for inclusion in the program. Please contact EVI-GTI or any member of the board of directors noted below for further information regarding this unique opportunity to meet with colleagues from across the United States and the European Union.

The first ever joint conference of the U.S. Propulsion Instrumentation Working Group (PIWG) and the European Virtual Institute for Gas Turbine Instrumentation (EVI-GTI) was held in Newport, RI and was a true success. More than 100 instrumentation engineers from across the US and EU attended the conference.
